Designing robots, decoding computer viruses, and learning the secrets of compute animation are just a few of the ways Boston-area middle school girls will learn about technology at Girls Get Connected 2006, taking place on Saturday, March 4, 2006, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 pm at Simmons College (3rd floor conference center - 300 The Fenway). The event is FREE and open to girls living in the City of Boston.
The girls will participate in two workshops over the course of the day. Workshops range from mathematical origami, to video game development, to the chemistry of ice cream.For more information, please visit the FAQ and Directions pages.
